Department of Business Ethics and Legal Studies
Our Purpose: Your Success The Department of Business Ethics and Legal Studies has a mission: to equip you with the necessary tools to make you a better applied leader. You’ll learn from executives who frequent the campus to discuss the practical challenges and rewards of value-based leadership in their own careers. Our goal is to ensure you develop the technical knowledge and skills to lead organizations effectively and, we hope, the judgment to do it wisely. Tangible Results - Leading ranking organizations such as The Wall Street Journal give high scores to Daniels at DU, based in part on praise for Daniels graduates’ “personal ethics and integrity, teamwork abilities, awareness of corporate citizenship issues, and communication and interpersonal skills.” According to this year's Wall Street Journal survey Daniels ranked fourth in the world for producing graduates with high ethical standards.
