GMAT

Your official score report for the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) must be submitted. Below are details about Daniels GMAT testing requirements.

Minimum Requirement

A minimum score of 20% on the Verbal section and a minimum 4.0 AWA score is required for admission. Those applicants who meet the minimum TOEFL score but whose GMAT scores for the Verbal and Analytical Writing Assessment sections fall below the minimum required score may be offered conditional admission and would be required to complete the University of Denver’s Graduate Preparation Program. There is not a conditional admission in which you can waive the GMAT.

Timing

The application may be submitted before the GMAT is taken. Although the application will not be reviewed until the GMAT score is received, the Graduate Admissions Office can begin to process your application and have it ready for review by the time the GMAT score is submitted. You are welcome to submit an unofficial GMAT score report, which can be used for review of the application until the official scores reach us.

Scholarship consideration

While a previous graduate degree may be substituted for the GMAT in the admission process, the GMAT is required for all those wishing to be considered for merit-based scholarships and assistantships.
