Partners in Excellence Internships

Over the summer quarter, several members capitalized on the opportunity to do internships with various organizations. The SMC was represented at the Denver Metro Sports Commission, the Denver Broncos Football Club, Kroenke Sports Enterprises, Pro Star Agency, the LPGA U.S. Open and Octagon in McLean, VA. Thanks to the continuous efforts of Professor Paul Sheehy, SMC’s faculty advisor, the group has also made progress this summer with its Partners in Excellence program. This program is designed to offer SMC members first class internship opportunities with the top sports organizations in the industry. In exchange for the opportunity to get an inside look at the business of sports, the SMC promises to match and recommend the best candidates possible for each position.
