Certificate Programs Admissions Criteria
The Admission Committee evaluates the following criteria for Graduate Business Certificate applicants:
Academic Record
We are seeking students with the proven ability to perform in an academic setting. A bachelor's degree is required.
Work Experience
Students applying to the Graduate Business Certificate must have a minimum of two years work experience. A professional resume is required with your application.
Letter of Recommendation
One letter of recommendation is required and must be submitted from an individual (non-relative) who can evaluate your academic and/or work performance as well as your potential for success in graduate school. The letter may be faxed (303.871.4987) or e-mailed directly from the recommender to Lisa Wuthrich. There is a recommendation form you may use that is attached to the GBC application.
Essay
The one essay on the Graduate Business Certificate application is assessed for clarity, organization, conciseness, and grammar.
Admissions Interview
Depending on your experience and which certificate you would like to pursue, an interview with departmental faculty may be required.
GMAT/GRE
The GMAT or GRE are NOT required for admission.
