Admissions Interviews
At the Daniel College of Business, we strongly encourage all prospective students to participate in the interview process.
By taking the time to meet personally with applicants we learn about the personal qualities and experiences that aren't necessarily
reflected in test scores, GPAs and essays.
Graduate Admissions Interview
The graduate admissions interview is an excellent opportunity for Daniels College of Business admissions staff to learn more about your goals and experiences and for you to learn more about Daniels. Interviews are conducted in person, by phone, or via web cam depending on your availability and location.
The admissions interview is required for:
-
All Executive and Professional MBA applicants.
- All those who wish to be considered for merit-based scholarships and graduate assistantships.
Interviews are optional for other applications and are conducted on an invitation only basis. You will be contacted by an admissions representative to schedule your interview, which will be conducted in person or by phone. Most international admission interviews are conducted via web cam.
Undergraduate Admissions Interviews
Beginning with students entering DU in fall 2010, undergraduate students who wish to pursue a business major (BSBA or BSAcc) apply to the Daniels College of Business in the fall quarter of their sophomore year. An on-campus professional interview is an important part of this secondary admissions process. Contact the Office of Undergraduate Programs to schedule an on-campus interview.
Students transferring from other institutions apply concurrently to the University of Denver and Daniels. These students must complete the Ammi Hyde Interview, which is part of the DU undergraduate admissions process. Learn more about the Ammi Hyde Interview on DU's Undergraduate Admissions website. Undergraduate applicants are strongly encouraged to participate in the Ammi Hyde Interview process. Hyde Interviews take place in over 30 cities across the country. You'll meet with one to three members of our community, including alumni, faculty and staff. Learn more about the Ammi Hyde Interview on the University of Denver's Undergraduate Admissions website.
