Undergraduate Programs
Backpacks to Briefcases

The Backpacks to Briefcases program guides and supports students from their first
year at Daniels through their transition to the working world.
The mission of Backpacks to Briefcases is two-fold:
- Help students get the most of out of their college experience.
- Prepare students to realize their full potential when transitioning to the business world.
This mission is accomplished through fun and informative workshops, professional development programs, networking opportunities and other memorable experiences. Past events have included a Fashion your Future fashion show and seminar of business attire and etiquette, a Career Conference on Negotiating your Career Path in a Difficult Economy with specialized breakout sessions for everyone from first-year students to graduating seniors, and a workshop on The Art of Small Talk to help you make a great first impression at networking receptions, job fairs and other events.
