GRADUATE PROGRAMS: INTEGRATIVE CHALLENGE - MBA 4270

Pre-registration Information and Instructions

Course Description:

Integrative Challenge provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience with challenging management topics. Students work in small groups to research and analyze a specific business issue for a client. The client may be a for-profit business, non-profit organization, or a government agency.

The goal of this course is to offer first-hand experience in applying theories and concepts through: (1) a rigorous application of principles learned in previous MBA course work, (2) a relevant and timely field experience for the student’s resume, and (3) a professional report and presentation which provides tangible evidence of developed skills. More simply expressed, students in this class will learn by doing.

Students are assigned to teams based on background and professional interests. The team is expected to spend the necessary hours working at the organization and outside the classroom to complete assignments. Throughout the course students are required to attend all scheduled class sessions, workshop sessions, and final presentations.

Prerequisites:

The following courses are prerequisites and must be completed before enrolling in Integrative Challenge:
