Are you looking for space to study with your team?
The Community Square located on the first floor has space available to reserve for groups of 2 to 10 people. Each space has a flat screen monitor to hook up your laptop and visually collaborate with your team members.
Also available in the Daniels building are meeting rooms located on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors. Located in the hallway, these rooms are designed for teams of two or more people to meet and study together. The meeting rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If a room is open - go ahead and take it. We ask you limit your time to 2 hours per session. If all of the rooms are occupied, let a group in one of the rooms know you’ll be back in two hours. And expect another group to do the same when you’re there. If the room is occupied by one person and two or more people need the space, please request the single person move to another location to study. As a member of the Daniels Community, we ask that you respect the needs of everyone and share the limited spaces we have available.
If you are looking for a space to study alone, please visit the Marcus Commons, Community Square or the second floor mezzanine located just off the hallway. Room 120 is also available as a quiet study room throughout the day – the available times will be posted outside the door each quarter.
There will be occasions when the meeting rooms will be reserved by faculty and staff for special team projects, Hyde interviews and other special activities and events. Signs will be posted with times and dates when the rooms will not be available.
If you have any questions or suggestions on how to improve the use of any physical space at Daniels, please visit the Community Square and discuss your ideas with Marie Bronder – Community Square Manager.
