Office of Undergraduate Programs

The Office of Undergraduate Programs provides comprehensive student services to undergraduate business students at the University of Denver. Located in the historic Margery Reed Hall, the office offers academic advising, career development, and houses the College’s student organizations.

Academic Advising
Academic advisors in the Office of Undergraduate Programs serve as a starting point for all business students. They provide assistance with the Daniels Business Core, class scheduling, academic procedures, graduation requirements, elective hours and make referrals when appropriate. Academic advisors serve as a comprehensive source of information, communication, and advising for business students from matriculation to graduation.

Career Development
Career advisors offer customized services in career planning and job and internship seeking strategies. The advisors facilitate the transition from the University to the world of work. Students work with their individual career advisor on topics ranging from career planning to job search assistance and benefit from individual attention while developing a career profile. Students discover and learn about their personalities, interests, values and skills as they apply to career choices.

Student Organizations
Joining a student organization is an effective and great way to meet other business students and to get business experience. Organizations are active throughout the school year and offer special programs for students.

“Backpacks to Briefcases”
Designed to add to classroom experiences, “Backpacks to Briefcases” is a comprehensive and special program for business students. From guest speakers to industry focused events, the program offers added value to students.
