Welcome to the student evaluation of teaching system of the Daniels College of Business. Current policies of the University of Denver and the Daniels College require that each class be evaluated by students.
The purpose of the student evaluation of teaching is to provide feedback for constructive improvement in course design, delivery and management. Your constructive comments represent a valuable source of information for both administrators and instructors within Daniels.
Your evaluation of the instructor is confidential and anonymous. While you must submit your Banner ID number to enter the student evaluation of teaching system, your number is NOT permanently recorded with the evaluation form you submit. Rather, the system merely validates that you are enrolled in the course which you are evaluating. Thus, your evaluation remains anonymous.
These evaluations are made available to no one until after final grades are submitted by instructors. After grades have been submitted, information from these evaluations is made available to, and reviewed by, the Senior Associate Dean of Academic Programs and other administrators in Daniels, including the appropriate head (chair or director) of the academic unit of the instructor. The information is then made available to instructors.
On behalf of the faculty, administration and future students, thank you for participating in this important activity.
Glyn W. Hanbery, Ph.D, CPA Sr. Associate Dean—Academic Programs Daniels College of Business
