Steven Betts joined Frontier Renewal in 2008, a national developer of environmentally impaired real estate. Previously, he was senior vice president and CFO of Landbank Properties, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shaw Group that also develops environmentally impaired real estate. Betts has also worked as vice president and controller at CoBank, vice president of finance and accounting at Resources Trust Company and vice president of finance at MDC Holdings, one of the ten largest homebuilders in the United States. Betts started his career with Price Waterhouse, where he worked for nine years, leaving as senior manager.
Betts is a past committee chairman and vice chairman of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and remains involved with his alma mater, the University of Denver.
Betts holds a MAcc and a BAcc from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business.
