Biography At-a-Glance
Karen Dowd is the executive director of career services and corporate engagement and heads the Suitts Center for Career Services at Daniels. She plays a key role in the development of a deep and supportive network of business executives, corporate partners, recruiters, alumni, friends and academic professionals for Daniels students. She is a frequent speaker, writer, trainer and consultant on MBA recruiting, graduate management education, and labor market trends, and is the author two books published by McGraw-Hill?one on career management for individuals, the other interpersonal skills in organizations. Previously, Dowd was the senior director of MBA Career Development at the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business. She also served as a practice leader and senior consultant for the Empower Group and director of Career Services and Placement at the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business.
