In addition to eight years in academia as both a professor and assistant dean, Barbara Kreisman's background includes more than 25 years in the corporate world inclusive of experience with two Fortune 50 organizations (Motorola and Monsanto) , as well as a start-up organization (PC's Limited) which became Dell Corporation.
As each of these companies, Barbara was involved with numerous corporate initiatives (leadership development, competency identification, organizational human resource planning, staffing and retention). During her 11 years as Sr. Human Resource Strategist with Dell, the company grew from 250 employees to more than 40,000 worldwide, and sales increased from $500 million to more than $34 billion. Her doctoral dissertation was a case study dealing with issues associated with turnover of 'high potential' technical talent.
