Biography At-a-Glance
Don Mayer is Professor-in-Residence, Daniels College of Business, University of Denver. Other teaching and research experience includes serving as a visiting professor of law and ethics, Manchester Business School Worldwide (England and Singapore); visiting professor, University of Iowa MBA programs; instructor of international law, Millersville University (Pennsylvania) at Foro Europeo, Huarte, Spain; professor of management at Oakland University; visiting professor of law, history and communication at the University of Michigan, and visiting instructor at California Polytechnic State University. He has also been the chief clerk for legal research at Wilkes, Artis, Hedrick and Lane, Chartered, Washington, DC, an associate in the private law practice of Lee and Lee, Attorneys at Law and a partner at Reynolds, Fowler, Nesbitt, Crawford, and Mayer. He was a Captain, USAF, Chief of Military Justice in the office of the Staff Judge Advocate, Frances E. Warren Air Force Base, Cheyenne, Wyoming.
When working with the media, Mayer can address issues of corporate governance, criminal liability and corporate corruption, corporate social responsibility, ethics and global capitalism, military security and private companies, drawing on extensive experience and research and can discuss issues from both a practical and high-level perspective.
