Biography At-a-Glance
Karen Newman is professor of management for the Daniels College of Business. She joined the College in 2005 and served as Dean from 2005 to 2007. Earning her Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1978, Newman has served on the faculties of Bucknell University, Case Western Reserve University and Georgetown University where she was also an Associate Dean. She has also held visiting appointments at the University of Melbourne and the Czech Management Center. Prior to joining DU she was the Dean of the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond.
