    • November 9th, 2007-Internal team entry
    • November 16, 2007-Internal case distribution
    • January 11-13, 2008-Internal competition

What is Race and Case?

The event will take place January 11 & 12, 2008 and will feature a downhill ski competition at Keystone followed by a business ethics case competition at Daniels. The winning team of the Internal Competition will continue on to represent Daniels in the External Competition.

Qualifications for the Daniels Team

Selection of the Daniels Race & Case team will take place January 11 & 12, 2008. Teams will consist of a minimum of four people, and a maximum of six, participating in the case competition, and up to six people competing in the ski competition. Entries for the internal competition must be received by November 9, 2007. All teams entered in the internal competition will receive the case on November 16, 2007. They will first participate in a ski competition at Keystone on Friday, January 11, 2008, and then present the case to a panel of judges on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Daniels. The winning team will represent Daniels in the 5th Annual Race & Case, February 7-10, 2008.

How do I sign up?

To register for the Daniels Race & Case internal competition, fill out the entry form and return it by November 9, 2007. It is the responsibility of Daniels students to create their own teams.  If an individual is interested in competing, yet does not have an organized team, he or she should place their name and appropriate information on the sign-up sheet located outside the GBSA office, #147, on the first floor of Daniels.  Completed application forms should be emailed to Rika Hayashi at Rika.Hayashi@du.edu or left in the GBSA office. There is no application fee for the internal application

What if I want to participate, but I don't want to compete?

There will be ample opportunity for all Daniels students, faculty and staff to participate in Race & Case. The Daniels community is encouraged to attend the all of the events: the ethics case competition, ski competition and networking events on February 7 - 10, 2008.
