The week kicked off with an International Travel Fair where students were treated to lunch and learned about the many international education opportunities at Daniels. The keynote speaker for the week was Asad Mahmood, managing director for global social investment funds and community development finance group for Deutsche Bank. He spoke about microcredit lending in developing countries.
Tuesday

team had a graduate student in social work that commented that he was thrilled to
be able to have this type of experience in graduate school.

Participants came together to discuss career opportunities in sustainability or corporate social responsibility.
Thursday was topped off with Daniels Night Spring BBQ, our annual event that attracted
over 500 students, alumni, friends, faculty and staff to celebrate our founding in
1908. In case you missed it, attendees were treated to a surprise flash mob planned
by the Office of Communications and Marketing interns
