Finance Specializations and Dual Degrees
Every finance degree path builds on Daniels rigorous foundation of technical skills and values-based leadership grounded in effective communication, teamwork and ethics. Students pursuing a master of science in finance at Daniels choose one of two specializations or customize the MS finance degree to match their unique needs. Graduate students also have the opportunity to earn two master-level degrees simultaneously or to pursue an MBA or IMBA with a finance concentration.
Concentrations
Corporate Finance
Focus on capital management and external financing--how companies raise money, manage resources and evaluate performance.
Investment Management
Sharpen your knowledge in equity and fixed-income analysis, including pricing and valuing securities, measuring portfolio performance, and identifying and controlling risk.
Customized Concentration
Select from various electives within Daniels to match your needs and goals.
Dual Degrees
If you're interested in expanding your studies beyond a master of science, you might want to consider an MBA or IMBA with a finance concentration or pursuing a dual degree that combines a master of science in finance with an MBA or IMBA. This will give you a greater depth and breadth of business knowledge while still allowing you to specialize in finance practices.
